Lara Kolbet, CPCU, AINS, API, AIS

Lara started in the insurance industry in 1993 at Farm Bureau Insurance. She began as a batcher and gradually worked her way into senior management in the underwriting department where she ultimately retired in 2023 after 30 years of service at the age of 50.

Lara then joined University Financial Group as it's Vice President handling all aspects of the firm's Property & Casualty* business in the 10 states that the firm operates in. She has obtained the following professional designations from The Institute which are the most senior designations in the Property & Casualty industry. Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU); Associate in Personal Insurance (API); Associate in Insurance (AINS); Associate in Insurance Services (AIS).

Lara enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with her new granddaughter Oakley. She is married to her husband Lance where they jointly own University Financial Group.
