Phone: 208-234-1800 Mr. Kolbet began in the financial services industry following a tour serving on two U.S. Navy Submarines during the Desert Shield/Storm campaigns. In 1993 he founded University Financial Group and began serving clients throughout the Northwest. Mr. Kolbet brings 15 years experience in the area of employee benefits, executive compensation, and deferred compensation planning. He currently represents Idaho as the legislative contact for the Advanced Association of Life Underwriters (AALU) and also serves as the Political Action Committee (PAC) Chairperson for the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA)-Idaho. In 2005 he served as past State President of NAIFA-Idaho, and two times as local president of the Southeastern Idaho chapter of NAIFA. He also is active in his local estate planning council and has authored featured articles in industry journals such as Advisor Today and Life Insurance Selling Magazine. He currently holds the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation and Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designations. Mr. Kolbet is a series 6/63 registered representative and a series 26 securities principal registered with FINRA.
